As the leading voice for business and a catalyst for economic development in Macomb County, the Macomb County Chamber Named Jon Peterson, At&T as the 2011 Board of Directors Chairman & Maria Silamianos as Vice-Chair. Mark O. Benner, President, Mark O. Benner LLC was honored as Chair of the Marketing and Programs committee since 2007. Leading the chamber’s branding, strategic planning, and his most recent venture is a partnership in the Macomb Now Magazine as Editor. Mr. Benner has been a member of the board for over six years,

was honored for his leadership as Chair of Public Policy Committee and as a member of the Golf Committee.  The Public Policy Committee was very instrumental in three successful chamber events which included: Candidate Forums for County Executive and County Commissioner’s. The most recent was a very successful PAC event titled, “Reinventing Macomb” with over ninety dignitaries and guests in attendance a second event is in the works for this summer. Mr. Bernard was also very instrumental in the mediation for the Macomb County Chamber and Macomb Now Magazine agreement with which resulted in a true success for both parties. Mr. Bernard is also member of the Board of Directors.


Peter J. Lucido, President and Founder, Lucido and Manzella P.C.
was honored for his commitment as Chair for the Macomb Foundation’s, “Hall of Fame” event for over eight years and his most recent venture, Macomb Now Magazine. Mr. Lucido approached Grace Shore and Mark Benner and then eventually the Board with the new business endeavor. The idea was to introduce Macomb County to a new upscale lifestyle publication and to help stimulate the growth of Chamber membership. Since the inception of the new magazine, Chamber Membership has risen; over ten thousand issues have been in circulation. Mr. Lucido has been a member of the board of directors for over ten years.
