MT CLEMENS, Mich. (August 6, 2019) – The Macomb Foundation will add the following distinguished community leaders and businesses to the Macomb Hall of Fame at its 2019 induction ceremony on August 22 at Villa Penna in Sterling Heights.

“These honorees demonstrate exceptional commitment to building our community,” said State Senator Peter J. Lucido, chair of the Macomb Hall of Fame. “Their corporate, civic and philanthropic leadership exemplify the highest standards of achievement over many years and we are proud to recognize them.”

More than 300 Macomb Foundation supporters are expected to attend the August induction ceremony at Villa Penna in Sterling Heights.

“The Macomb Hall of Fame is the premiere event for Macomb County’s business community,” said Kelley Lovati, the CEO of the Macomb Foundation. “The members of the Macomb County Chamber are proud to recognize these exceptional men and women through our Foundation. They truly make Macomb County a better place to live, work and play.

The Macomb Foundation has inducted 94 area leaders since the Macomb Hall of Fame was founded in 2000. The Foundation’s mission is to promote the advancement of business and community in Macomb County.

Tickets for the Macomb Hall of Fame, which include a reception, silent auction, dinner, honorary program, and entertainment, are $175 per person and may be purchased online at macombcountychamber.com. Event sponsorships and program ads are also available.

WHO THEY ARE

Anne Nicolazzo is Vice President of Human Resources and Community Outreach for its three facilities and 165 employees. Anne serves as the volunteer Social Media Administrator and Visual Ambassador for the “Make Macomb Your Home” initiative in Macomb County since inception in 2012. Anne is a Freelance Photographer for Macomb Now Magazine, the owner/operator of Anne Nicolazzo Photography and contributes to other local publications to showcase the regional assets in Macomb County and promote community events.  Anne dedicates her time and donates her talent to numerous non-profits; including serving on the Board of Directors for Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan and is a Leadership Macomb Alumni.

 

Peter Beauregard,Sr. is former President & Owner of Colony Marine and current Founder & Owner of Algonac Harbour Club. After finding his passion for both boating and people as a salesman during his twenties, Pete purchased Colony Marine in 1958, building the company into one of largest boat dealerships in Michigan. For over 50 years, His passion for people and promoting the boating lifestyle carried over seamlessly into his purchase of Algonac Harbour Club in 1984, one of the largest deep-water marinas in the area, where he continues to oversee operations today. Pete acted as Colony’s owner and operator, until selling the company to his son, Pete Jr., and daughter, Lori, in 2010.

Peter Beauregard, Jr. is the current President & Owner of Colony Marine Sales & Service and Michigan Harbor Properties. Pete has a wealth of experience in the marine dealership and service industry with a career spanning over 40 years, but his passion for and dedication to the industry began long before that. Pete’s commitment to the industry and preservation of the Great Lakes has been clear throughout his career, community involvement, and personal life. His priorities include repairing and upgrading our aging Michigan marinas and promotion of the recreational boating industry in Michigan.

Dr. Anthony Colucci, is a board certified Emergency Room Physician.  He has been involved with the Detroit Red Wings since 1989 as a part of the Training and Medical Staff.  He is an active member of the NHL Team Physician Society (NHLTPS) serving on several committees. He currently is the ER Medical Director at Henry Ford Hospital Macomb and the Medical Director for the Paramedic Program at Macomb County Community College (MCCC).  He is involved in the education and development of ER Residents and paramedic students. He is an ATLS instructor at Michigan State University and participates annually in the certification and re-certification of health care providers.

Tom Brisse is President and CEO of McLaren Macomb, a 288-bed acute care hospital located in Mt Clemens, Michigan. He is healthcare executive with 32 years of progressive leadership and operations experience.  Tom is currently serving as a Member at Large of MCACHE, as well as a board member for Baker College, MedStar Ambulance Company, Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Statewide Campus System, and Advancing Macomb.

Helen Hicks is President and CEO of Macomb County Habitat for Humanity.  She is an award-winning administrator having secured many prestigious recognitions over the years. She has served on the boards of the Food Bank Council of Michigan, the American House Foundation, the Sojourner Foundation, and the Down Syndrome Guild of Southeastern Michigan.  Helen believes that her career and her life have been successful because she has focused on serving those less fortunate than herself.

Bill Jarvis is the Founder and President of Jarvis Property Restoration, he started Jarvis Painting in 1979. He kept expanding his expanded his range of contracting services branching out into hurricane response or day-to-day emergency services by the early 2000s. From there his firm increased its services for hurricane response or day-to-day emergency services and repair work throughout the coastal United States, opening an office in Louisiana which was relocated in 2004 to the east coast of Florida.

Matthew Jarvis is Vice President of Jarvis Property Restoration, has been a leader for over 16 years in emergency response and restoration. Matthew is dedicated to making sure each client is aware of the restoration process, and provides assurance that the job will be completed in the most professional way back to pre-loss condition. As the Vice President of Jarvis, Matthew is the first sign of relief to many home and business owners after the sudden event occurs. Matthew is directly involved with each division of employees at all twelve locations across the Midwest region.
