Macomb County Chamber Welcomes New Board Members
at 2026 Annual Meeting
The Macomb County Chamber kicked off the year by bringing together business and community leaders for its 2026 Annual Meeting and Board Induction, held Feb. 6 at the Italian American Cultural Center in Clinton Township. The annual event provided an opportunity to reflect on the Chamber’s momentum while looking ahead to the year ahead for the region’s business community.
During the meeting, the Chamber welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors: John Fleming, shareholder at Giarmarco, Mullins & Horton, P.C.; Kate Millea, general manager of The Mall at Partridge Creek; and Phillip Whitman, regional manager for Macomb and St. Clair counties at DTE Energy.
The event also featured keynote remarks from Dennis Sampier, owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Shelby Township and Chick-fil-A Hall Road and Romeo Plank. Drawing on more than two decades of leadership experience, including 20 years with the Detroit Pistons, Sampier shared insights on Chick-fil-A’s commitment to hospitality, operational excellence and building a people-first culture centered on the well-known phrase, “It’s my pleasure.”
The Chamber also recognized the sponsors who helped make the event possible, including McLaren Macomb, collabPEO, First State Bank and Accident Fund Insurance.
As the Chamber looks ahead to 2026, the Annual Meeting served as a reminder of the strong partnerships that continue to drive Macomb County’s business community forward.
