A Message from Kelley Lovati, Ph.D., President and CEO, Macomb County Chamber and Macomb Foundation

As we move into the busy fall season, I’m energized by the momentum we’ve built together and excited for what’s ahead at the Macomb County Chamber. Our recent programs, from celebrating remarkable leaders at the Hall of Fame Awards to hosting important conversations through the Great Lakes Blue Economy Conference and launching our first-ever Manufacturing Roundtable Committee, reflect the strength, innovation and collaboration that define our business community.

Looking ahead, nominations are now open for our second annual 40 Under 40 Awards, where we’ll once again shine a spotlight on the next generation of leaders making an impact across Macomb County. We hope you will join us as we celebrate these exceptional leaders on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Zuccaro’s in Chesterfield.

On September 26, we’ll gather at the Lake-St. Clair Metro Park Activity Center at noon for the State of Harrison Township to hear directly from  Supervisor Ken Verkest about the township’s progress and future priorities.

On September 30, we’ll bring together experts for Business Preparedness: Emergency Preparedness for Today’s Business Risks from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Macomb Community College’s Center Campus in Clinton Twp. This timely program will explore issues related to cybersecurity, emergency preparedness and business resilience.

Each of these events offers an opportunity to connect, learn and lead. I encourage you to get involved, share your insights and make your voice part of these important conversations.

Thank you for your continued partnership in building a stronger Macomb County.

Warm regards,
Kelley Lovati, Ph.D.
