Introducing the Manufacturing Roundtable Committee

The Macomb County Chamber is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever Manufacturing Roundtable Committee, a new forum designed specifically for our region’s manufacturing leaders.

This committee was formed at the request of Chamber members who saw the success of our Aerospace & Defense group and wanted a similar platform for manufacturers. The Roundtable will address the most pressing issues facing today’s manufacturing industry, while also offering opportunities to connect and exchange ideas. The main focus areas will include:

  • Workforce development and retention – connecting employers with resources to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Academic and training partnerships – strengthening connections between manufacturers, K-12 schools, career technical education programs and colleges.
  • Industry resources and advocacy – engaging community partners such as Michigan Works, Macomb Community College and the Macomb County Economic Development Department to provide support, grants and apprenticeship opportunities.

If you’re involved in manufacturing in Macomb County, this is your chance to join a collaborative group working to shape the industry. Each meeting will feature guest speakers ranging from local legislators to workforce development experts who will provide timely and relevant insights for our members.
