Macomb County Chamber Supports Macomb Community College Upcoming Millage

On May 8, 2018, Macomb Community College will seek an operating millage renewal and restoration. The current millage accounts for 26 percent of the College’s budget and is vital for the future of the college. The Chamber’s Board of Director’s voted to support the millage renewal and restoration at their March meeting. The Board thought that the College is a vital part of the economic sustainability of Macomb County. There is a fundraiser planned April 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Kavan’s RestaurantFunds raised at this event will support the advocacy campaign.
