Macomb County Chamber issues general election candidate ratings

The Macomb County Chamber has released its evaluation of candidates running for office in the November 4 election.

As the voice of business in Macomb County, the Macomb County Chamber rates candidates based on their knowledge of issues relating to economic development, business environment and the future of Macomb County. The Chamber sends out a questionnaire to candidates each election cycle and also invites them to interview with members of the Chamber’s Public Policy Committee and Board of Directors.

“This process is not about party affiliation. Our committee looks for pro-business candidates with the skill set and innovation to move our county forward,” said Grace Shore, Chamber CEO.
