“App” your service: Chamber debuts new smartphone app

MT. CLEMENS, Mich., June 11, 2012–The Macomb County Chamber has introduced a new smartphone app available for the iPhone and Android.

The app includes the chamber’s membership directory, calendar of events, a list of discount programs available to members, L.E.A.D.S. networking group meeting times and places and updates from the chamber’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

“Our annual membership survey indicates that discount programs and networking opportunities are some of the top reasons that businesses join the chamber,” said Grace Shore, CEO. “This app is a valuable tool that keeps information right at our members’ fingertips to make it even easier to connect with other member businesses, take advantage of member-to-member discounts and to stay informed on chamber happenings.”
